This summer is about to become a little steamier, especially for the ladies. “Cocktails & Cufflinks,” a charitable bachelor auction will return downtown on Saturday, August 15th at 7:30 pm. The event, which will also feature a silent auction, will be held at the Charleston Visitor Center at 375 Meeting Street .
Besides the eligible men up for live auction, there are plenty of other (nonhuman) items to bid on during the silent auction. The silent auction will feature:
- 4-course meal for two with wine pairings at Burton’s
- Other gift certificates/passes to spas and restaurants
- Paintings
- Jewelry
- Weekend Stay at the Mills House for 2
- Travel experiences
- Sunset cruises
- Fishing charters
- Tours
Ladies Enriching the Community (LETC), a nonprofit whose mission is to “enhance the Charleston Community through a life-long commitment to education, economic and cultural empowerment,” is hosting the event. P roceeds will provide financial resources for LETC to continue its community-based programming.
This year’s featured bachelor is David Aylor.
