Báisco Offering $5 Deals During Cinco de Mayo Celebration

On Tuesday, May 5th, Básico will be offering up some $5 deals for Cinco de Mayo.

The special $5 menu includes nachos, tacos, and frozen margaritas. The regular menu will available as normal.

In preparation for the holiday, the restaurant has released their recipe for a Spicy Grapefruit Margarita:

Ingredients
- 2 Charleston hot peppers, halved (can substitute Serrano or jalapeno pepper)
- 1 bottle tequila blanco
- ¾ ounces grapefruit juice
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce agave syrup
- Salt for glass rim
Directions
- For the infused tequila
  - In a large glass pitcher, add the halved peppers to one bottle to preferred brand of tequila blanco
  - Refrigerate for 24 hours to allow peppers to infuse tequila.
- For the drink
- In cocktail shaker, pour 2 ounces of the infused tequila over ice
- Add grapefruit juice, lime juice and agave syrup to the chilled tequila. Shake well.
