The Charleston City Paper has just announced the winners of their annual Music Awards. All the victors were chosen by the City Paper's readers.
The biggest congrats goes to the Dead 27s and Elise Testone who took home a vast majority of the awards.
The Dead 27s won:
- Rock Band of the Year (second consecutive)
- Album of the Year (Chase Your Devils Down)
- Song of the Year (second consecutive, this time for “Don’t Comfort Me”)
- Guitarist of the Year (Wallace Mullinax, third year in a row)
- Drummer of the Year (Daniel Crider)
- Bassist of the Year (Oliver Goldstein)
Testone took home the following honors:
- Singer of the Year
- Singer-songwriter of the Year
- Blues Artist of the Year
- Soul/R&B Artist of the Year
