On Friday, October 24th, the American College of the Building Arts will host their annual Red Party, a fundraising event featuring hors d'oeuvres and beverages from some of Charleston's most popular establishments.
This year’s shindig will be an 18th century-styled masquerade inspired by the queen of luxury herself – Marie Antoinette. The event, dubbed “Anarchy In Charleston,” will be held at the Old City Jail.
With Antoinette in mind, the party will feature overflowing champagne, decadent French-inspired foods, and plenty of wine and spirits. There will also be a live classical/punk music performance by Entropy Ensemble, a silent auction, DJ C-Nile , and a private VIP section with table games and cake.
The Red Party once again boasts an impressive lineup of restaurants, caterers, and mixologists. Food will be provided by MOSAIC Catering, Twenty Six Divine, Sugar Bake Shop, Home Team BBQ, Edmund’s Oast, P.I.E., Glazed Gourmet Doughnuts, Cake Pops, Vanilla Bean Pastry, and Saveur du Monde.
The drink menu will include the winning cocktail from the REDy To Wear Cocktail Contest and libations inspired by the French Revolution.
As if those weren’t enough reasons to attend, this will be the last chance to attend the Red Party at the Old City Jail as the college will be changing venues after they relocate to upper Meeting Street.
