“The City of Charleston Emergency Management Department urges morning commuters to pay particular attention to the weather because of an unusual high tide expected around 8:52 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2014. Motorists should pay particular attention in low lying areas and during times of heavy rain for standing water and possible flooding. Individuals are encouraged to listen and watch local media, City of Charleston Twitter and Facebook, website and remain aware of their surroundings at all times.”
