O’ Be Joyful! Charleston’s favorite duo Shovels & Rope will be part of this year’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The 2014 lineup was announced earlier today and includes heavy weights Elton John, Kanye West, Jack White, Lionel Richie, Vampire Weekend and more. The modern-day Woodstock event will be held in Manchester, TN from June 12th until the 15th.
Congrats to Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent for their continued success and their inclusion on arguably the biggest music event of the year.
Also on the lineup? The Wild Feathers who will be performing at next month’s Spring Jam Music Fest at Brittlebank Park.
You may remember that Charleston and Bonnaroo have a little bit of history. Last year, the Holy City’s Stop Light Observations were voted into the festival by fans. Plus, The Travel Channel’s Adam Richman stopped at the Roti Rolls food truck, which was camped out at last year’s event.
