Yet another small earthquake was recorded near Summerville and Ladson. According to the United States Geological Survey, the tremor occurred around 12:09 am Monday and registered as a 1.7-magnitude quake. It was about 4 miles south-southwest of Ladson and 6 miles south-southeast of Summerville and Hanahan.
A 1.9-magnitude earthquake was just recorded in the same area on November 3rd. There were also two small tremors off of Highway 61 back in August.
