The BIG MIX, originally a one-off celebration of the Charleston streetwear scene, has expanded into a three-day event set for this Friday through Sunday. The BIG MIX will feature a full weekend of live entertainment, vendor showcases, and networking throughout the Holy City. The event kicks-off at 8 pm on Friday, October 18th with a “Dirty South Disco” at King Dusko. South Carolina-based hip hop artists Lexa L'Terra and Benjamin Starr will perform live, followed by DJ Luis Skye’s “silent disco” at 11 pm. The main event will be held on Saturday, October 19th from 6 pm – 10 pm at the Greater Charleston YMCA (61 Cannon Street). Independent brands from South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia will sell and showcase their streetwear and products. Plus, DJ D Dubb, Matt Monday, OxyMoron, Rare Minds and NoLoveTV will be performing throughout the event. The event is free and open to the public. The first 50 attendees will receive gift bags provided by “BIG MIX” partners/sponsors. Brands scheduled to participe include:

Following the “BIG MIX”, there will be an after party at the Faculty Lounge with DJ STUMBLE.
The weekend concludes on Sunday with the BIG MIX Brunch with DJ Black Olive at noon at the Royal American.
