The Brick House Kitchen in James Island will celebrate Labor Day with a “backyard bash” tomorrow starting at 5 pm. The all-ages event will feature food, beer, and and plenty of live music options to enjoy on the newly constructed outdoor stage. Party-goers can dine on food like hamburgers, grilled tuna fillet and grilled chicken sandwiches, black bean and brown rice tortilla wraps, vegetable hoagies, and sides like pasta, potato and quinoa salads, grilled corn-on-the-cob and fresh fruit. At 6 pm the live music begins with local funk-rockers Wadata. Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk follows at 8pm. The party is capped off by a late night Silent Disco with Sparkbox and Blackmarket at 11pm. Tickets are $15 for ages 21 and older pr $20 for those under 21. A portion of the Labor Day event’s proceeds will benefit the Lowcountry Food Bank of Charleston.
