The Charleston RiverDogs will be hosting their 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at 11 am on Tuesday, May 7th at the Wild Dunes Resort. This year, the event is inspired by Germany’s famed Oktoberfest celebrations.
Going by the name “Golftoberfest,” this 8th year of the tournament will benefit the Medical University of South Carolina’s Storm Eye Institute.
The tournament will feature a “four-man Captain’s Choice format” and will feature plenty of prizes. If you aren’t the best golfer, you can still take home the award for best cart decor, best costume and best golf head cover.
The fun doesn’t stop there – each hole on the course will feature a German-themed contest such as a yodeling competition, keg-rolling, a German Chocolate Cake Eating Contest and pretzel-making lessons.
The cost is $500 per foursome and includes green and cart fees, range balls, an exclusive golfer gift and goodie bag, unlimited beverages, awards ceremony and dinner courtesy of Rollin’ South.
