The Charleston Pub Crawl is returning to the Holy City on August 18th for its 2012 edition! This event has NUMEROUS reasons why you should attend.
Most importantly it will be benefitting a great a nonprofit oragnization – Charleston Waterkeeper. The group protects the “public's right to swimmable, drinkable, fishable water.”
Joining the Pub Crawl will ensure you will raise awareness and capital for the group as well as afford yourself a great time with awesome perks.
All participants will receive: an event t-shirt, event bracelet, koozie, no cover charges at participating bars, free can of Red Bull, beer/liquor specials at all venues, access to a music festival at Leaf, and 2 drink tickets for free SweetWater draft beers.
SweetWater is the presenting sponsor, so expect plenty of chances at scoring their swag, along with $2 specials on their brews. Also, with Red Bull being another sponsor that means $3 Redbull & Vodka libations.
The Crawl will last from 1 pm – 9 pm and starts at 159 East Bay Street. Crawlers will have the option of following the group or heading out on their own scavenger hunt. The list of bars participating is forthcoming, but will take place between Calhoun and Broad Streets.
Tickets are $25 ($35 day of the event) and go on sale July 18th on The CHS Pub Crawl Facebook page HERE.
With Sweetwater, Red Bull, Charleston Waterkeeper, the amazing downtown bars and the Becket Agency behind this event, the Charleston Pub Crawl is a can’t miss!
