You can also click Windows + E if you want to launch File Explorer, or Ctrl + Alt + Delete if you want to open the task manager.
Keyboard shortcuts can also be used across other verticals, including entertainment. Press Space if you want to pause your movie, and Alt + Right Arrow if you want to fast-forward. In gaming, some programs have unique shortcuts that you can master to streamline your playing experience. If you play European Roulette, you can hold Shift, and then click on the betting area for the chip you’d like to remove. When you do this, the bet will be removed, if the chip has a bigger value. In games like this, you can place several bets at one time, making this a very useful keyboard shortcut.

Inserting Emojis with Keyboard Shortcuts
Emojis are now a critical part of modern communication. Microsoft knows this as well, and that is why they have made it easier to insert them in just about any application. All you have to do is press Windows + Period. You can also try Windows + Semicolon, depending on the shortcuts that you have set already. You can then use the pop-up search field to try and find the emoji you want. When you've found one, click it, and it will be inserted for you. On Mac, press Control + Command + Space. This will open the Character Viewer, and from there, you can click on the desired emoji. An alternative shortcut would be FN + E.
If you want another useful shortcut, then you can use Windows + V to access your clipboard history. Although you may be aware that CTRL + V allows you to paste the last copied item, if you want to paste something that you copied hours ago, there’s a way to do that. Windows + V brings up the clipboard history, and from there, you can go back hours to find your last-used emojis, or to paste useful information. If you want to bring up the Emoji keyboard or any other data that you often copy and paste then you can take advantage of the Push Pin button. This will pin items on the list, and they will never leave your system. This works for Mac too, but if you want to bring up the shortcut for it, you’ll need to press Shift + Command + V instead.
