The Tiny Tassel, Charleston’s beloved boutique in the heart of Cannonborough-Elliotborough, invites the community to celebrate 10 years of spreading joy with the launch of its Holiday Shoppe of Joy collection and a special Second Thursday event on Nov. 13, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m.
As The Tiny Tassel marks a Decade of Joy, the celebration extends beyond shopping to supporting neighbors in need. In partnership with Lowcountry Action Committee, Lowcountry Street Grocery, Black Women of Charleston, My Local CHS, CHS BLM, Black Charleston and author Alexandra Hoover, the boutique is collecting nonperishable food donations to support local families affected by recent SNAP/EBT cuts.
“We’re so grateful to have been part of the 2Boroughs community for many years and to be able to gather our neighbors to do good,” said Mimi Striplin, owner of The Tiny Tassel. “Over the past decade, this neighborhood has supported us in countless ways, and we’ve been honored to support our community in return. This holiday season, we want to celebrate by giving back and coming together to support our neighbors who need it most.”
The evening will feature sips from Sèchey, treats to take home and the debut of The Tiny Tassel’s Holiday Shoppe of Joy collection. Guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items or grocery store gift cards to donate.
