Lowcountry Dog Magazine will mark two decades of publishing and supporting the local animal community with its new festival, The Big Bark, on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Firefly Distillery in North Charleston. The free event runs from 12–5 p.m. and is open to all ages and their well-behaved, leashed dogs.
Founded in 2005, Lowcountry Dog Magazine has published 125 issues over the past 20 years and reaches about one million readers annually in print and digital formats.
Attendees at The Big Bark can enjoy live music, food trucks, local vendors, and adoptable dogs from area rescue organizations. The music lineup includes DJ Dollamenu, Old Soul, and Six Foot Tide.
