Uptown Hospitality Group and the Charleston Battery are teaming up to host a FIFA World Cup 2026 viewing party on Friday, June 12 at the Bus Shed at Charleston Visitor Center (375 Meeting St.), where fans will gather to watch Team USA take on Paraguay.
The Bus Shed will transform into a high-energy fan zone, with 20+ large-scale viewing screens and a 200-inch video wall, along with bars and a lineup of local food vendors, including Halls Chophouse, 82 Queen, Taco Boy, Charleston Crab House, and more. The Charleston Battery will host an on-site activation, while local cover band Midnight City kicks things off with a live pregame performance.
“We wanted to create a space where Charleston could come together and experience the World Cup in a big way,” said Keith Benjamin of Uptown Hospitality Group. “After seeing how strongly Charleston showed up for the USA during the Olympics, we knew we had to take it to the next level.”
Doors open at 6 p.m., with the Midnight City performance from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., followed by the live-streamed match starting at 9 p.m.
Early bird general admission tickets are available for $30 beginning May 4, while VIP tickets are available for $150 and include a private viewing area, open bar, and oysters from Lowcountry Oyster Company. General admission and VIP tickets can both be purchased here. This event is 21+.
