The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) will present its annual Youth Triathlon on Saturday, July 26 at James Island County Park starting at 7:15 a.m.
Open to ages 7-15, the Youth Triathlon is an especially great opportunity for children to learn the basics of a triathlon in a well-monitored and safe environment. The course is fully contained inside the park and the open-water swim will be monitored by CCPRC lifeguards. This event is the only one in the area to offer an open-water swim for children.
Registration is $55 per person online. Registration ends Wednesday, July 23. There will be no on-site registration. Click here or visit CharlestonCountyParks.com to register.
