Hollywood, SC – Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary is inviting the community to rally behind its annual Laps for Love swim fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, helping provide lifesaving care for the more than 200 dogs and cats who call the sanctuary home.
Each year, dedicated swimmers take to the pool to raise funds through sponsored laps, turning every stroke into food, medical care, shelter, enrichment, and hope for animals waiting for their forever families. This year's event will once again be filmed and shared on social media, allowing supporters from anywhere to cheer on participants and follow the day's progress. The event will take place at the Stono Ferry pool. While the pool is closed to the general public, Stono Ferry residents are invited to attend in person.
Those who are unable to participate as swimmers can still make a meaningful impact by donating in general or sponsoring a participating swimmer. Every contribution, regardless of size, helps Hallie Hill continue providing compassionate care to the animals who depend on the sanctuary every day.
