Girls on the Run of Coastal South Carolina is proud to welcome John Aylor, Keeley Maloney, Colin Pugh, and Alexandria Godfrey to its board of directors. Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based, positive youth development program that inspires girls in 3rd through 8th grade to recognize their limitless potential and boldly pursue their dreams.
Board President Brittany Perez shares, “We are thrilled to welcome four exceptional new members to our Board of Directors.” Each brings a unique blend of professional expertise that will be instrumental in advancing our mission. Their collective experience spans a wide range of industries and communities, and we are confident that their insights and leadership will help our organization grow stronger and more impactful than ever. We look forward to the incredible work we’ll accomplish together!
The Girls on the Run programs help girls develop key life skills, including cultivating confidence, responding to oneself and others with care, and creating positive connections with peers and adults. Each season culminates with a 5K event to celebrate the girls’ growth during the season.
Council Director Paige Hauff added, “Girls on the Run Coastal South Carolina has served more than 3,700 girls since our first season in 2015. The talented leadership of our new and existing board members will help us serve as many girls as possible for years to come. We are also excited to celebrate our 10-year anniversary with our Coastal South Carolina community.”
