Twelve schools will participate in the annual Dave Spurlock Charleston County School District (CCSD) Football Jamboree on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Wildcat Stadium on the campus of West Ashley High School.
The preseason event was named after long-time Lowcountry athletic leader and former CCSD Athletic Director Dave Spurlock in 2023. This will be the third year of competition for this preseason event; last year’s jamboree was canceled due to scheduling challenges created by a tropical storm.
The matchups are as follows (start times following the first contest are approximate, and the home team is listed second):
- 5:30 p.m. – Academic Magnet Raptors vs. North Charleston Cougars (24 minutes)
- 6:00 p.m. – Wando Warriors vs. Bishop England Battling Bishops (12 minutes)
- 6:20 p.m. – R.B. Stall Warriors vs. Bishop England Battling Bishops (12 minutes)
- 6:40 p.m. – R.B. Stall Warriors vs. Wando Warriors (12 minutes)
- 7:00 p.m. – Military Magnet Eagles vs. Burke Bulldogs (24 minutes)
- 7:30 p.m. – James Island Trojans vs. Lucy Beckham Bengals (24 minutes)
- 8:00 p.m. – West Ashley Wildcats vs Baptist Hill Bobcats (24 minutes)
Each exhibition contest will last 20 minutes with normal clock operation, meaning the clock will stop as it would during a normal game.
Gates will open for fans starting at 4:30 p.m., and the district’s clear bag policy will be enforced.
Tickets for the Dave Spurlock CCSD Football Jamboree are available for purchase for $8 a person online (children five years old and under are free) on GoFan.co. Attendees are asked to save their proof of purchase to their email accounts and present their digital tickets on their mobile devices at the gate. Fans can buy tickets with cash in person at the entrance on the day of the event. Proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit all 12 of the participating schools.
CCSD IDs and South Carolina High School League athletic passes for the 2024-2025 school year will be accepted at the gate.
