The Credit One Charleston Open, North America’s largest women’s-only professional tennis tournament, will return for its 54th year from March 28 to April 5, 2026, at Credit One Stadium on Daniel Island.
The WTA 500 event, which has been named the WTA Tournament of the Year for the past three seasons, will once again open the clay-court season with a field of more than 100 top players and a slate of new fan experiences, food options and special events. Single-session tickets are now on sale.
Two top-10 players—former Charleston champions Jessica Pegula and Madison Keys—have already committed to the 2026 field. More player announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
Credit One Bank recently extended its title sponsorship of the Charleston Open through 2031 and announced that the tournament will offer equal prize money beginning in 2026, making it the first standalone WTA 500 event to voluntarily match ATP 500 prize levels.
The tournament has seen exceptional early demand for 2026, with 100-level seat packages and several premium options already sold out. Organizers plan to expand the Coastline Lounge, a courtside hospitality space known for its elevated comfort and coastal-inspired dishes from Sullivan’s Fish Camp.
“Next year, we’re focused on elevating the fan experience with more ways to enjoy the matches, upgraded hospitality and some exciting new spaces and events,” said Bob Moran, president of Beemok Sports & Entertainment. “Charleston continues to be the perfect home for world-class women’s tennis.”
New for 2026, the event will feature an on-site shopping market with local vendors, a full-service restaurant offering daily seatings, and themed nights such as Ladies Night, Educators Night, Military and First Responders Night, Women and Girls in Sports Night, and Date Night.
The tournament’s popular COCO Row will return with a lineup of Charleston-area restaurants, including Bodega, Sullivan’s Fish Camp, Orlando’s Pizza, Verde and MPishi. Fans can also participate in pickleball and padel sessions, as well as tennis challenges in the USTA South Carolina Fan Zone.
The MUSC Family Weekend will take place March 28–29, featuring live music, face painting, “fairy hair” and other kid-friendly activities. Tickets for Family Weekend start at $10 for adults, and children 16 and under are admitted free.
