The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum this morning unveiled an officially licensed Clemson Tigers vs. South Carolina Gamecocks Rivalry Bobblehead ahead of Saturday’s matchup between the two programs. The special-edition bobblehead is being released in conjunction with the 122nd meeting between the rivals, which will be played Saturday, Nov. 29, in Columbia, South Carolina.
The bobblehead features Clemson’s mascot, The Tiger, and South Carolina’s mascot, Cocky, standing beside a replica of the Palmetto Trophy. The design commemorates the long-running Palmetto Bowl, one of college football’s most storied rivalries. The bobblehead is available exclusively from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of both universities.

The bobblehead depicts The Tiger and Cocky in their uniforms, standing on a football-field base marked “TIGERS” in one end zone and “GAMECOCKS” in the other. Both mascots give the No. 1 hand signal while holding a football featuring their respective school logos. A replica of the Palmetto Trophy sits between them, and the front of the base displays both team logos.
The Palmetto Bowl, often cited as one of college football’s top rivalries, is considered South Carolina’s most significant sporting event. First played in 1896, the game was held annually from 1909 to 2019 before a one-year pause in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With 111 consecutive games, it was the second-longest uninterrupted rivalry in FBS history. The rivalry has never been played anywhere other than Columbia or Clemson.
The Tigers lead the all-time series 73-44-4 and have won eight of the past 10 meetings, though South Carolina took last year’s game 17–14.
The Palmetto Trophy, introduced in 2015, replaced the Hardee’s Trophy, which was awarded for three decades. The palm-shaped trophy features a circular base with team logos and game scores. Since 2015, the schools have also competed in the broader Palmetto Series, which includes more than a dozen head-to-head athletic contests each year.
“We’re excited to unveil this limited-edition Clemson vs. South Carolina Rivalry Bobblehead ahead of tomorrow’s game in Columbia,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “This bobblehead will be the perfect way for Clemson and South Carolina fans, alumni, students, faculty, and staff to show off their school and state pride.”
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, located at 170 S. 1st St. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opened to the public on Feb. 1, 2019. The museum also produces customized bobbleheads for retail sale, organizations, teams, and individuals nationwide.
