Carolina Children’s Charity was founded in 1987 to assist Lowcountry children with medical needs. The organization provides grants to help families access services including therapy, medical equipment, medical care and medications.
Since its founding, the nonprofit says community support has helped it provide more than $4.9 million to local children.
All money raised through the Oct. 10 fundraiser will remain in the Lowcountry to support children in the community.
