The Lowcountry community is invited to join the 23rd Annual Carolina Children’s Charity (CCC) care • give • run 5K Partial Trail Run & Family Fun Walk on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at Palmetto Islands County Park in Mount Pleasant. Presented by Vertical Bridge, the event raises funds to benefit local children living with birth defects and childhood diseases.
Founded in 1987, Carolina Children’s Charity is dedicated to helping Lowcountry children with challenging medical needs gain access to services and equipment that enhance their growth, development and quality of life. Thanks to the generosity of the community, CCC has provided more than $4.9 million to more than 4,300 local children and their families. Every dollar raised stays in the Lowcountry, helping children receive therapy, medical care, equipment, medications and other life-changing resources.
The family-friendly event will feature:
- A timed 5K Partial Trail Run with prizes in 39 race categories
- An untimed Family Fun Walk with team prizes
- Jump castles
- Local mascot appearances
- Live music and a DJ
- Food and ice cream trucks
- Games and sponsor booths with giveaways
The registration fee includes all activities.
