The Charleston RiverDogs return to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park to open a six-game series against the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, the Single-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, from August 4-9.
As part of the RiverDogs' ongoing America 250 celebration, presented by SC250, this week's homestand continues to honor the nation's 250th anniversary with patriotic promotions and community-focused events woven throughout the schedule.
The week's homestand features one of the most creative promotional lineups of the season, blending fan-favorite traditions with unique themed nights and community celebrations. From the season's final Military Appreciation Night to a medieval-inspired Knights of the Diamond Table showdown, and Rock Night, there's something for every member of the family to enjoy.

Tuesday, August 4, 7:05 p.m. – Dog Day Tuesday, presented by Twisted Tea and Elanco; RiverShepherd Day T-shirt Giveaway; Boeing Military Appreciation Night & Hall of Honor Induction
Kick off the week with another Dog Day, where pups of all shapes, sizes, and breeds are invited to join the fun! This time, we're celebrating German Shepherds, so bring your loyal companion and join fellow fans for a tail-wagging night at the ballpark. Be sure to arrive early, as the first 500 fans through the gates will receive an exclusive RiverShepherd-themed T-shirt. Plus, your furry friends can compete all season long in our in-game contests for a chance to be crowned the Goodest Boy or Girl of the Year , with the championship taking place during the final Tuesday home game. It's also another week of Sysco's Behind the Plate Tuesdays, recognizing the hardworking members of the food and beverage industry.
The evening also marks the final Boeing Military Appreciation Night of the season, as we honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. All active-duty military members and veterans will receive free admission to the ballpark. During a special pregame ceremony, the Charleston RiverDogs Hall of Honor will welcome two distinguished inductees in recognition of their service and contributions. Fans will also witness the return of the ceremonial of the Fort Sumter Garrison Flag, adding a patriotic tribute to this memorable evening.

Fans are encouraged to dress in their best toga attire and be sure to snap a photo with the towering Trojan Horse stationed at the ballpark. Throughout the evening, DJ Don will keep the party going with high-energy music, making this a Thursday night celebration worthy of the gods. Friday, August 7, 7:05 p.m. – BoeingRed Shirt Friday, Rock Night, Fireworks Friday, presented by REV Federal Credit Union
It's Rock Night at The Joe! Whether you're rocking your favorite band T-shirt, channeling your inner Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, or even bringing along your favorite pet rock, this night is all about celebrating everything rock. The evening will conclude with a spectacular postgame Rock-themed fireworks show, presented by REV Federal Credit Union, set to a soundtrack of classic and modern rock anthems. From the first pitch to the final burst of fireworks, this will be a night that truly rocks.
The RiverDogs will also celebrate Boeing Red Shirt Friday, encouraging fans to wear red in honor of the men and women who currently serve and have served in the United States Armed Forces. Charleston will take the field in its America 250 uniforms before a postgame fireworks show, presented by REV Federal Credit Union, lights up the Lowcountry sky to a soundtrack of rock hits.
Saturday, August 8, 6:05 p.m. – Knights of the Diamond Table Night, Medieval Jersey Auction
Hear ye, hear ye! The RiverDogs invite fans to Knights of the Diamond Table Night, where The Joe will be transformed into a medieval kingdom for one unforgettable evening. The RiverDogs will take the field in specialty Knights of the Diamond Table jerseys, which will be auctioned off live throughout the game to benefit the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital. Winning bidders will have the opportunity to claim the jersey straight from the player's back after the final out, complete with photos and autographs.
Upon entering the kingdom, every fan will be called to choose their faction. Color-coordinated rally towels placed on each seat will reveal your allegiance to either the Yellow Knights of the Rising Sun or the Blue Knights of the Blue Flame. Throughout the evening, in-game contests, sword fighting and other challenges will earn points for each kingdom as both sides battle for supremacy over The Joe. When the final tally is complete, one side will be proclaimed the rightful rulers of the kingdom and victorious over The Joe, with members of the winning faction receiving exclusive discount codes.

Sunday, August 9, 5:05 p.m. – MUSC Health Family Sunday, Larry Doby Day with the Cannon Street All Stars
Join the RiverDogs for Larry Doby Day, a special celebration honoring the enduring legacy of South Carolina-native Larry Doby, the first African American to break the color barrier in the American League, and the rich history of the Negro Leagues, in partnership with MUSC Health. For one afternoon, the RiverDogs will take the field as the Newark Eagles, while the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers will play as the Homestead Grays, paying tribute to two of baseball's most iconic Negro League clubs. The day will feature a special pregame recognition of the Cannon Street All Stars, celebrating their lasting impact on baseball history and the Charleston community. Fans will also witness the presentation of the Augustus J. and Lawrence Holt Scholarship.
