The Lowcountry community is invited to join the 22nd Annual Carolina Children’s Charity (CCC) Care•Give•Run® 5K Partial Trail Run & Family Fun Walk on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at the Palmetto Islands County Park in Mount Pleasant. This event raises funds to benefit local children living with birth defects and childhood diseases. 

Founded in 1987, Carolina Children’s Charity is dedicated to helping Lowcountry children with challenging medical needs gain access to services and equipment that enhance their growth, development, and quality of life. Over the years, thanks to the generosity of our community, CCC has provided more than $4.8 million directly to more than 4300 local children and their families. Every dollar raised here stays here—helping children receive therapy, medical care, equipment, medications, and other life-changing resources. 

This fun-filled family day will feature:

• 5K Partial Trail Run (prizes in 39 race categories) 

• Family Fun Walk (with team prizes) 

• Jump castles 

• Local mascot appearances 

• Live music 

• Food truck & ice cream truck 

• Games and sponsor tables with giveaways 

• One affordable registration fee per person includes all activities! 

Event Details:

Together with families, local businesses, sponsors, and the unwavering support of our firefighters, we are making a difference for children who need us most. Join us for a beautiful day in the park, and help give hope, care, and opportunity to Lowcountry kids.
