On February 8th, 2025 at 9 am, the 10th Annual Building Healthy Communities 5KRun/Walk & Wellness Expo will be held at Hampton Park in downtown Charleston. Check-in, on-site registration and he expo will begin at 8 am and a group warm-up will be held at 8:50 am. An after-party, award ceremony, and raffle will be held at 10:15 am
All proceeds for the event will benefit the MUSC Children’s Health Wellness Works Program.
Nearly one in five children 10-17 years old is diagnosed with overweight/obesity (18.5%). For the past 20+ years, the MUSC Children’s Health Wellness Works program has helped thousands of kids fight this statistic and prevent them from becoming adults with chronic disease.
