Smalls Sliders, a Louisiana-based fast-food restaurant, will officially open its North Charleston location, 2280 Ashley Phosphate Road, on July 20 at 10 a.m.
The grand opening event will feature a check presentation and ribbon-cutting ceremony with representatives from Communities In Schools, the restaurant's "Smalls Town Hero."
The latest Smalls Sliders Can is part of a broader multi-unit development led by Elliott Strott through Sandlot Ventures LLC, a North Charleston-based franchise group. This is the group's first Can, with plans already underway for a second location in the area.
"We first discovered Smalls Sliders while spending time in New Orleans and were immediately drawn to the stand-alone, modular design and how streamlined the operation is," said Strott. "With my background in real estate and consulting, I recognized how unique the concept is, and I'm proud to bring something bold and different to North Charleston. I'm looking forward to building strong connections in the community as we open our first Can."
Smalls Sliders specializes in fresh, cooked-to-order cheeseburger sliders. The menu also features fries, shakes, queso and the chain's signature Smauce®.
Smalls isn't just known for its menu. The brand also stands out with its signature Smorange Can, built from shipping containers and featuring streamlined ordering through a walk-up window or drive-thru.
