Lee Johnson (pictured), a Democrat running for the U.S. Senate against Lindsey Graham, hosted a virtual town hall on Reddit on Wednesday, inviting the nearly 200 thousand members of the South Carolina subreddit to ask him questions.
“From day one, this campaign has been about showing up and meeting voters where they are,” Johnson said. “That means going into folks’ communities - both in-person and online - and having conversations about the issues we face as a state and as a country.”
The AMA comes after Johnson announced a statewide town hall series on Tuesday.
