In the first two weeks of his campaign for the U.S. Senate against Lindsey Graham, Democrat Lee Johnson criss-crossed South Carolina to meet with voters in several counties.
Here's a look at where the candidate has been:
On Saturday, May 24th, Johnson traveled to Lee and Kershaw Counties to knock on doors for Keishan Scott, Democratic nominee for a special election in S.C. House District 50.
On Monday, May 26th, Johnson marched in the Beaufort Memorial Day Parade and attended a Memorial Day Ceremony at Beaufort National Cemetery.
On Tuesday, May 27th, Johnson delivered remarks at the East Cooper Democrats monthly meeting in Charleston County.
On Thursday, May 29th, Johnson traveled to Spartanburg County to attend a “Fighting for Freedom” fundraiser hosted by the Spartanburg Young Democrats.
This comes on top of additional visits to Charleston County and previous visits to Greenville, Richland, Sumter, and York Counties during the first week of the campaign.
“All across South Carolina, folks are ready to send new leadership to Washington,” Johnson said. “I’m committed to showing up and meeting folks where they are, and that’s what we’re doing on this campaign. We’ll continue to work to reach voters and spread our message across the state.”
