U.S. Senate Candidate Brandon Brown released the following statement in response to a recent post from opponent Dr. Annie Andrews suggesting that Lindsey Graham “has a secret”:
“Let me be clear: it is not my job, or anyone’s job, to ‘out’ someone’s personal life. That kind of rhetoric has no place in this campaign or in our politics.
"South Carolinians deserve better. They deserve a serious conversation about the challenges they face every day—rising costs, access to healthcare, good-paying jobs, and the future of our communities.
"I believe we can draw strong contrasts without crossing lines of basic respect and human dignity. This campaign is about accountability and leadership. It’s about holding Senator Graham responsible for his record and offering a better path forward—not resorting to personal attacks or innuendo for social media likes.
"That’s the campaign I’m running, and that’s the standard the people of South Carolina deserve.”
