COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina state Rep. Brandon Newton, R–45, is heading to Washington, D.C. next week to participate in Future Summit 2025, the largest bipartisan convening of Gen Z and millennial state legislators in the United States.
More than 80 young legislators from 32 states and both parties are confirmed to attend the four-day event. With the theme America in the Making, this year’s summit will highlight how young elected officials are advancing innovative, cross-partisan solutions to some of the country’s most urgent challenges. Programming includes peer-led trainings, policy roundtables and keynote sessions with national experts and fellow lawmakers.
