COLUMBIA – South Carolina ETV and Public Radio (SCETV) will air comprehensive live coverage of the 2026 South Carolina Special U.S. Senate Republican Primary Runoff on Aug. 25 across its statewide television and radio network. From 8–9 p.m., viewers can watch the broadcast on ETV, ETV World or stream on SCETV.org. Listeners can tune in on SC Public Radio.
The special primary runoff will determine the Republican nominee for South Carolina's open U.S. Senate seat following the death of Sen. Lindsey Graham. The Republican nominee will advance to the general election on Nov. 3.
Gavin Jackson, host of SCETV’s weekly public affairs show This Week in South Carolina and the weekly South Carolina Lede podcast, will anchor the coverage, featuring live results, updates and analysis of the primary runoff. Jackson will be joined by University of South Carolina Political Science Chair Kirk Randazzo in the studio. Additionally, SCETV reporters Maayan Schechter and Scott Morgan will be stationed at the candidates' campaign headquarters to offer on-the-ground reports and analysis.
