Charleston County Public Works officials will hold a Transportation Sales Tax (TST) public input meeting at 6:30 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2025, in the event hall at the Park Circle Community Building, located at 4800 Park Circle.
At the start of the meeting, county leaders will deliver a short presentation on the TST program’s history and next steps as County Council explores a possible extension of the 2004 half penny tax. The remainder of the evening will be dedicated to hearing from the community, answering questions, and collecting feedback on residents’ road, transit, and greenbelt priorities.
Those unable to attend are encouraged to complete the online public input survey, which is available at www.CharlestonTransportation.
“Public input is essential as we look ahead to what the next phase of this program could accomplish,” said Eric Adams, director of Charleston County Public Works. “We want to hear how residents experience our roads, transit systems, and green spaces each day, and their insight will help us understand where future investments can make the greatest impact.”
Additional meetings will be announced soon as county officials continue outreach efforts to ensure broad community input on potential future investments.
