In response to President Joe Biden’s decision to not seek re-election, State Representative JA Moore (D-Berkeley) has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic nominee for President.
He also released the following statement:
“Kamala Harris is a proven leader. She has worked tirelessly for the people as Vice President and throughout her entire career. As I proudly and loudly echoed four years ago, Kamala Harris has my full support for President of the United States. This moment requires her strength, courage and commitment to the people. I am urging my colleagues, friends and family to do everything they can to support our next POTUS: Kamala Harris.
I also call on all Democratic delegates in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties and throughout the Lowcountry and South Carolina to pledge their support to Kamala. I have spoken to and will continue to have conversations with delegates to ensure our party is united and ready to move forward with Kamala as our nominee at the convention.”
