Today, Navy veteran and first-time congressional candidate Nancy Lacore formally filed to be on the ballot in South Carolina’s First Congressional District.
Since Lacore launched her campaign seven weeks ago, she has received national endorsements from The Bench, EMILYs List, and VoteVets.
“I am excited to formally file to appear on the ballot as our campaign continues to build momentum, said Lacore. “As I travel the district and meet with friends and neighbors, I am struck by how excited they are to have new, service-driven leadership in Washington. I look forward to the next phase of this campaign and I am eager to get to work in Congress where I will fight to lower costs, protect our democracy, and create opportunities for working families in South Carolina to succeed.”
