On Monday, November 20th, 2023, the Tecklenburg for Mayor campaign released several endorsements from faith leaders across the Holy City.
"Voting empowers us to shape the future of our communities," Rev. Eric Manning said. "Supporting courageous leaders ignites positive change. Our voices do matter and we must voice them on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. By standing with Mayor Tecklenburg, a courageous leader, we will create a city that is a beacon of hope and positive change."
Rev Dr William Swinton Jr reflected on Proverbs 29:2, emphasizing the importance of wise and just leadership: “'When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.’ Mayor Tecklenburg's leadership embodies fairness, wisdom, and care for the community. Re-Elect Mayor Tecklenburg, Nov 21st!”
Mayor John Tecklenburg said, "It's a true honor to be endorsed by such a distinguished group of Charleston faith leaders.
