Cunningham, the first Democrat elected to South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District in more than 40 years, offers an insider’s perspective on the future of the Democratic Party, the growing disconnect between political parties and everyday voters, and what it will take to rebuild trust with Americans across the country.
The Charleston event will feature remarks and discussion from Cunningham focused on the themes of the book. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Cunningham and purchase signed copies of the book ahead of its official May 20 release.
