Conservation Voters of South Carolina (CVSC) announced its endorsement of Representative JA Moore (D) for District 15, which spans portions of Charleston and Berkeley Counties. CVSC has chosen to support Representative Moore based on his commitment to conservation values and putting voters in his district first regarding all issues facing our state.
CVSC says it remains committed to "supporting candidates who prioritize the environmental health of South Carolina, regardless of party affiliation." The organization says it is confident that the endorsed candidates will advocate vigorously for policies that safeguard South Carolina’s land, air, and water and expand clean energy production options in South Carolina during significant growth and environmental challenges.
So far CVSC has endorsed 23 candidates for the upcoming South Carolina House elections on June 11th. These endorsements span a diverse group of leaders committed to the conservation and resilience of South Carolina’s natural resources. Looking ahead, CVSC is expected to announce several more primary House endorsements and primary endorsements for the Senate in the upcoming weeks. These endorsements are part of CVSC’s broader strategy to support conservation champions across the state, ensuring that environmental stewardship remains a top priority in South Carolina’s legislative agenda.
