Charleston County Elections has made available several training sessions for its popular Voter Ambassador Program.
The initiative, which was launched in 2024 and has trained dozens of community members, offers volunteers the opportunity to receive training from elections staff to then hold voter registration drives, inform others about upcoming elections, and help empower their neighbors to vote. All Voter Ambassadors are provided ambassador kits filled with registration and informational materials.
Upcoming training sessions will be held at Charleston County Elections headquarters, located at 4340 Corporate Road in North Charleston, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on the following dates:
- Monday, August 18, 2025
- Tuesday, September 2, 2025
- Thursday, September 11, 2025
- Wednesday, September 24, 2025
“Serving as a Voter Ambassador is your chance to inspire civic engagement, ensure neighbors have the facts, and help every voice be heard,” said Isaac Cramer, Executive Director.
Those who would like to attend an upcoming training session are asked to RSVP to ensure a spot. For questions about the program, please contact Haley Oryell, Community Engagement Manager.
