Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) and South Carolina Election Commission will co-host Voter Education and Outreach Day on Thursday, March 26, 2026, with the following library schedules:
- Goose Creek (10 a.m. - 12 p.m.)
- Sangaree (2 - 4 p.m.)

Whether you are a first-time voter or simply want a refresher on your voting options, this event provides clear, practical guidance to help you make a plan to vote and ensure your voice is heard in South Carolina elections." - Jenifer White, South Carolina Election Commission
Attendees will learn how to register to vote, including deadlines, eligibility requirements, and the different ways to register online, by mail, or in person. The event will also explain early voting, which allows registered voters to cast their ballot in person during the two-week period leading up to Election Day at designated county locations.
In addition, the following will be covered:
- How to vote absentee
- Accessibility features of the election equipment
- Hands-on practice on the election equipment
- Answered questions provided by South Carolina Election Commission staff
