A day after U.S. Sen. Darline Graham Nordone defeated U.S. Rep. Ralph Norman in the Republican special primary runoff, Democratic nominee Dr. Annie Andrews released her first general election advertisement, “White Coat.”
The 30-second spot draws on Andrews’ experience as a pediatrician and mother of three to outline her priorities in the U.S. Senate, including lowering health care costs, holding insurance companies accountable, cutting taxes and keeping South Carolina families safe.
The advertisement began airing statewide Wednesday across broadcast, cable and digital platforms. It is the first spot in a major general election advertising campaign expected to continue through Election Day.
