The Winkler Group, a national fundraising consulting firm known for driving transformative growth in the nonprofit sector, has promoted Rachel Santos to Director of Marketing and Jennifer Morgan to Senior Consultant, marking a significant stride in its mission to empower nonprofits across the country. These promotions come as the firm continues to redefine how nonprofits approach fundraising and engagement, delivering strategic expertise that directly contributes to the success of countless organizations nationwide.
Rachel Santos, who has been with the Winkler Group for five years, has played a pivotal role in the firm’s double-digit growth. Her innovative digital marketing strategies have expanded the firm's national presence and directly connected thousands of nonprofits with the resources they need to amplify their missions. Under her leadership, the firm’s first search engine marketing campaign was launched, broadening its impact nationwide. Santos' work in tripling website visitation and earning the Charleston American Marketing Association Spark! Award for Best Website has equipped nonprofits with cutting-edge tools and insights to drive their fundraising success.
“When Rachel began working with the Winkler Group, our primary market was the East Coast. Today, clients from across the U.S. connect with us,” said Jessica Browning, executive vice president and principal. “Her digital marketing expertise is second to none, but what our clients value most about their interactions with Rachel is her warmth and general interest in seeing their success.”
Rachel is a graduate of the College of Charleston. She has served on the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ SC Lowcountry Chapter Board of Directors and as the copy editor for The Tolkien Society’s Amon Hen publication.
Jennifer Morgan, now Senior Consultant, has nearly 30 years of frontline fundraising experience, making her an asset in the Winkler Group’s efforts to help nonprofits cultivate lasting donor relationships. Her strategic counsel has been crucial in guiding six capital campaigns, bringing expert attention to the cultivation and communication strategies vital for nonprofit growth.
"Jen embodies our core values; she leads with heart and has a passion for helping our clients succeed," said Raymond Carnley, vice president of client services. "She earned this promotion through the careful attention and expert counsel she gives to those she serves."
Currently, Jen leads capital campaigns for schools like Trinity Episcopal School in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Providence Academy in Leesburg, Virginia. She has a B.A. from Salem College and an M.P.A. from West Virginia University.
These leadership changes signal the Winkler Group's continued commitment to empowering nonprofits to maximize their impact. By leveraging innovative digital marketing strategies and offering unparalleled fundraising expertise, the firm is dedicated to transforming how nonprofits connect with their communities, secure funding, and ultimately achieve their missions.
