Wendy Brewer (pictured), a private wealth financial adviser and partner at the Roseate Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, has been named to SC Biz News’ first-ever list of the state’s most powerful and impactful business leaders. Based on staff research, the inaugural South Carolina 500 list spans more than 20 major sectors.
“I am deeply honored to be recognized as a business leader in our Charleston community,” Brewer said. “My passion is helping families and business owners navigate the path from wealth creation to preservation and legacy. Being able to pursue my passion and raise my family in this incredible city has been such a gift.”
Brewer began her financial services career in 2001. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) (not in public practice) and holds the personal financial specialist designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Brewer also holds the certified divorce financial analyst (CDFA) and chartered special needs consultant (CHSNC) designations.
Earlier this year, Brewer was named to the 2025 Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in-State list and recognized on Charleston Business Magazine’s 50 Most Influential list. In May, Brewer spoke as a panelist at the 2025 Forbes SHOOK Research Top Women Advisor Summit and served as the keynote speaker for the 18th annual Women United Awards Luncheon at Trident United Way. Over the summer, Brewer was also honored as a South Carolina Woman in Business by Integrated Media, publisher of Charleston Business, Columbia Business and Greenville Business magazines.
