Due to cold weather conditions, multiple Warming Centers will open on Monday, January 12, 2026, to provide overnight shelter for individuals and families in need.
The following Warming Centers will be open and accept men, women, and children. Pets are not permitted.
Holy City Missions at Aldersgate UMC
- 1444 Remount Road, North Charleston\
- Admission: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- CARTA transportation will be provided via Route 13, with drop-off and pick-up at Remount Road and Allison Avenue.

Hibben United Methodist Church
- 690 Coleman Boulevard, Mount Pleasant
- Admission: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- Hibben UMC will provide transportation from 68 Columbus Street between 6:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. each evening. CARTA will provide free transportation from the site each morning.

Seacoast Summerville

- Admission: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- On weekdays only, TriCounty Link will provide free transportation to and from the center along its standard route.

- Hours: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. (Open Monday, January 12, 2026, only, until further notice)
