Due to anticipated cold weather, the following Warming Centers will be open from January 3rd to January 5th, 2025. These centers are available for men, women, and children, and each center will offer shelter during the extreme cold temperatures. Pets are not allowed at any of the locations.
Warming Center Details:
Holy City Missions at Aldersgate
- Dates Open: January 3rd, 4th, 2025
- Location: 1444 Remount Road, North Charleston
- Admission Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Transportation: CARTA Route 13, with drop-off and pick-up at Remount Rd/Allison Ave.

- Date Open: January 4th, 2025
- Location: 690 Coleman Boulevard, Mt. Pleasant
- Admission Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Transportation: Pick-up at 68 Columbus Street near Trident Technical College (Palmer Campus) at 6:30 p.m. each night. Free CARTA transportation is provided in the morning.

Seacoast Summerville

- Location: 301 E 5th North St, Summerville, SC
- Admission Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; closure at 7:00 a.m. the following morning.
- Transportation: Board CARTA Route 10 outbound at either Meeting Street & Sheppard Street or Meeting Street & Johnson Street. Transfer to Tri County Link at T-Mobile (8751 Rivers Avenue), with service at 4:10 p.m., 5:16 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.
