In preparation of the winter weather, several local organizations are beginning their winter warming center operations. Individuals who reside outside, in cars, or in unheated houses need somewhere safe and warm to sleep during cold weather. Warming Centers are available to fill this need by providing a bed, meals, clothing, and other basic needs. Men, women, and children are welcome. Admission is from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. (unless announced otherwise); guests must leave shelters each morning at 7 a.m.
