Walmart will host a grand reopening of its newly remodeled Goose Creek store, showcasing upgrades that reflect the company's Store of the Future model.
The transformation includes a modernized layout, faster and more convenient shopping options, enhanced digital tools, and an expanded assortment of on-trend products, all designed to help customers shop how and when they want.
Customers will notice:
- Expanded aisles and interactive displays that help them visualize merchandise in their homes.
- An expanded selection of healthy foods and affordable premium brands, including De'Longhi, Oura, Jessica Simpson and Lemme.
- More speed and convenience options, including delivery in as little as one hour.
- An enhanced Walmart app experience that allows customers to navigate store aisles, access store services and schedule oil changes at the Auto Care Center.
- A Vision Center designed for greater privacy and convenience, featuring brands such as Nike, Calvin Klein and DKNY, along with services including free cleanings and adjustments.
The grand reopening highlights Walmart's commitment to delivering a modern, efficient and intuitive shopping experience, whether customers shop in-store or online.
The Goose Creek location is one of 29 Walmart stores in South Carolina scheduled for remodeling in 2026 and one of approximately 650 remodeled stores nationwide.
Community Giving
The event will also highlight Walmart's continued investment in the community with the presentation of $5,500 in grants to local organizations, including:

- Sunflowers of HOPE — $1,500
- KIASWI — $1,000
