Trio Solutions Inc. (TRIO), a woman-owned and operated marketing communications agency, is celebrating its 25th anniversary, a milestone reached by only 10% of companies nationwide. Founded in 2001 by Jessica Munday, TRIO has grown into Mount Pleasant’s longest-running full-service marketing communications agency, serving businesses and nonprofits throughout the Lowcountry and across the United States.
Over the past quarter-century, TRIO has partnered with more than 300 organizations, delivering strategic branding, web development, public relations, digital marketing, creative services and event marketing. The agency’s client work spans nonprofit, healthcare, education, municipal and professional service sectors.
TRIO is housed at the Harbor Entrepreneur Center, the Lowcountry’s hub for innovation and small-business growth, where founder and CEO Jessica Munday currently serves as board chair, further reinforcing the agency’s deep roots in the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Beyond client work, TRIO is widely recognized for its commitment to community impact. Since becoming the exclusive Lowcountry partner for CreateAthon in 2007, the agency has donated more than $1.5 million in pro bono marketing services to over 90 local nonprofits. Through this annual 24-hour creative marathon, nonprofits receive professional marketing support to help amplify their missions and expand their reach.
“Reaching 25 years is an extraordinary milestone in any industry, much less one that is constantly evolving like the marketing field,” said Munday. “This anniversary reflects the resiliency it takes to run a business, the trust our clients place in us, and our long-standing belief that marketing is essential, not optional, for organizations that want to grow and make an impact.”
Munday has previously been recognized among Charleston’s top marketing professionals, including being honored as Charleston’s Marketer of the Year in 2011. TRIO has also received numerous honors from the Charleston American Marketing
Association and other regional organizations, recognizing the agency’s excellence in strategy, creativity and results.
In 2025, TRIO was named Small Business of the Year by the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, underscoring the agency’s leadership within the regional business community.

As part of its next chapter, TRIO has sharpened its focus on the intersection of AI, marketing and people, building on nearly 25 years at the forefront of technology, including the internet, social media, digital marketing, and now AI. TRIO was one of the first Charleston-area agencies to offer social media management to businesses.
