GREENVILLE, S.C. — Together SC, the statewide network for nonprofit and philanthropic leaders, has reached a major milestone with the enrollment of its 1,000th member. The benchmark underscores the organization’s expanding reach and the increasing strength of South Carolina’s nonprofit sector.
The 1,000th member, Lead Collective Inc., is a Greenville-based organization focused on equipping emerging leaders from historically under-resourced communities. Its three core programs — centered on outdoor exploration, after-school enrichment, youth development and mental health support — aim to build confidence, belonging and long-term leadership skills among Greenville County youth.
The membership milestone coincides with the arrival of Grace Williams, Together SC’s new membership and development manager. Williams visited Lead Collective to present a membership certificate and celebrate the occasion with staff over coffee and donuts.
“We are thrilled to welcome our 1,000th member and equally thrilled to welcome Grace to the Together SC team,” said Karen Riordan, president and CEO of Together SC. “This milestone represents the collective impact of our members and the growing momentum of South Carolina’s nonprofit sector. Grace’s expertise in governance, strategy and membership engagement will be invaluable as we continue to deepen our service to the network.”

She has also worked as a behavioral therapist at a publicly funded autism clinic and in financial aid at a liberal arts college. Her volunteer experience includes grant writing and development support.
Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and political science from Erskine College and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
