The USS Yorktown Foundation, the designated support organization for Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum, is proud to announce the creation of a pivotal new role aimed at enhancing community engagement and support for the museum. The newly established Director of Community Relations and Membership position has been filled by Kayla Webber (pictured), a seasoned professional with a strong background in marketing and nonprofit management. Webber will spearhead the development of an exciting new membership program for the museum set to launch later this year.
Kayla Webber brings over a decade of experience to this role. Having previously served as the Marketing Manager at Patriots Point, her return to the team signifies her commitment to advancing the museum's mission through innovative community engagement strategies. Her past contributions to organizations like the South Carolina Aquarium and the International African American Museum highlight her expertise in fostering meaningful connections within the community. “I’m excited to be part of the Patriots Point team again,” said Webber. “I look forward to developing a dynamic, valuable membership program, that strengthens our supporter connections and expands outreach efforts to advance our mission.”
